Dir2Encrypt

The Program can compress a Folder.
It saves the content of the folder into a self extracting zip file.
The zip file can be encrypted by a password.

Die encrypted file can also be opend by programms like
WinZip, 7Zip, PeaZip.
The Standrard Windows XP Zip can not open the  AES encrypted Files!

For Encryption AES265 is used.

Warning!
without the Password the Data in the encrypted File are lost!

The security of the Zip depends on the Passwort which was used for encryption.
Use long Passwords with numbers and special Characters!
For example: use a sentence with number and special characters.

Dir2Encrypt was built with MS Visual Studio 2008 it referneces the Zlib-v1.9 Ionic.Zip.dll

It uses a slightliy changed version of Ionic.Zip.dll located in source code Folder ..\dir2encrypt\Dir2Encrypt\DotNetZip-Source\sfx-self-extractor - FormCahanged
